This presentation explains the process leading to exemplary integration of technology into special education instructional practice. Four foundational themes leading to successful technology adoption into the classroom will be presented. While obstacles exist, they can ultimately be overcome or overlooked. Implications provide insight that can improve pre-service coursework and professional development for technology integration within special education instruction.
